Character Issues and Visa Cancellation

We assist with Section 501 Migration Act 1958 matters, visa cancellation, and responses to notices of intention to consider cancellation or refusal. As lawyers and migration agents, all information provided to us is protected by client professional privilege.

Beyond visas: citizenship and appeals

Australian Citizenship

Becoming an Australian citizen enables you to apply for an Australian passport and re-enter Australia without restriction. Australian citizens may register their children as Australian citizens by descent if they are born overseas. Citizens can vote in state, territory and federal elections, and referendums.

We assist with applications for citizenship by conferral, descent and adoption, as well as AAT applications, character issues, exceptions to the general residence requirement, and resuming citizenship.

Visa Appeals

The Department of Home Affairs cancels or refuses numerous visas and visa applications. We assist with appeals to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, Federal Courts, and Minister of Immigration and Border Protection to intervene if it is in the public interest to do so.
